I'm a work in progress.

I live for art - it's my passion. I have a job working in a commercial art gallery in Connecticut after graduation, and I couldn't be more excited. I love learning and I would go to school forever if I could afford it. </dork>. I also love my friends, sometimes they understand me better than I understand myself. We don't judge, which is a plus because it makes our time spent together slightly more obscene and a lot more fun. Except, I will judge you if you use poor grammar - it's one of my biggest pet peeves. I love exploration in every sense of the word. If I had one special "power" it would be to be able to speak and understand every language in existense. Family and faith are huge in my life (although I struggle with both sometimes). Adults love me, I'm kinda a goody-two-shoes... Speaking of shoes, I own a lot of them. I'm loyal 'til the end. I don't like to talk behind other people's backs, and I hate lying. I have a very strong intuition when it comes to people, so I can usually tell if we'll connect and what their motives are in seconds. If I don't like you, I won't deal with you - end of story. I like the type of person I've become, and I think the people I surround myself with do too. Routines and monotony make me bored as hell and frankly, slightly nervous. I feel most alive when I'm on or in water. I like to have secrets, and I'll never reveal too much about myself at once. Call it keeping myself guarded, but I think it makes relationships more interesting.

I use my journal to express myself when I'm at my highest or lowest points, not very often when I'm in between. My favorite way is to express myself with writing, I'm not a big talker, so you'll learn more about me if you read what I've written rather than if you have a conversation with me (unless you're someone who's very special to me). That being said, I've kept a diary since I was in 6th grade. I still write in one almost every day.
